Paintings are made with high quality professional and archival materials. The medium is oil paint, and paintings are done in oil on stretched canvas or linen covered art panels.

Linen Covered Art Panel Choice
* ¼ inch depth (6mm).

Stretched Canvas Choice
* ¾ in. (15 mm)
* ⅞ in. (22mm)
** 1.5 inch (35mm)

**These are standard depths for framing.
**- with this option, the canvas sides can be painted, so that a frame isn’t necessary. Floater frames are popular with this depth.

Photo and Media

If you would like me to use your photo, or sketch as a reference, send me a digital photo. If you’re not sure of the quality, email it to me, and I can let you know if it will work. 

Written Work

If the case that you would like something painted that is written in text, for ex. A quote, or your original poetry, we could discuss your vision. 


*Please note, I do not work with portrait commissions at this time.

 

Framing

All original paintings and commissioned paintings are sold unframed. If you would like your painting framed, I can have that option available for you to select and purchase. Framing may take up to two weeks after painting is completed. Framed paintings will incur additional postage and packing fees due to additional weight and size.

Agreement

A document stating the agreement between artist and client will be discussed during initial contract.

Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 1/3 of the cost of the commissioned painting will be required before the work is started.

Time Framework

Completion will depend on the size of the work. We can discuss this during our initial contact.


Shipping

It's been said that shipping is a combination of both science and art. Good packaging is essential, and my goals when shipping your art are:
1. Safety
2. Professionalism

Every effort is made to carefully, efficiently, and professionally package your art. Archival, and acid free materials are used to safely protect the artwork in transit.

US:

Delivery is via USPS Priority Mail. 

International:

Shipping costs will depend on destination.
Packages will be shipped via First Class Package Service International.

*Please note: 

USPS can no longer accept or deliver international mail to several countries due to Covid-19 service impacts. Please check the USPS website for a list of these countries. 


Payments

I accept PayPal and major credit cards through PayPal. Once we agree upon the details of your piece, I will invoice you for a preliminary payment to secure the work. You will be billed upon completion for the final work, framing, and shipping, if applicable.
