The Fate of Flowers
The light looked in through the morning window to watch the lady plant Flowers in the sun. By night the Flowers lost life, and the lady cried. In the morning she planted the same Flowers in a new way, but again by Night the Flowers lost life. And again the lady cried. Determined to keeplife in the Flowers she continued to plant again and again, until finally the Night spoke to the lady and told her, “One cannot change the fate of Flowers.”
